Scheduled Inspections

100 Hour And Annual Inspections

Regular inspections are essential to keep aircraft safe and reliable. Two of the most important are the 100-hour inspection and the Annual Inspection. The 100-hour inspection is a detailed check required after every 100 hours of flight or once a year, whichever comes first, to identify wear and address small issues early. The Annual Inspection is a more in-depth review that covers the entire aircraft—engine, avionics, flight controls, and airframe—and is required once a year by aviation authorities. Both inspections include careful checks of maintenance records and logbooks. By staying on top of these inspections, our technicians help make sure every plane continues to operate safely and efficiently.

Modifications

STC Installations

STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) installations allow for approved modifications to your aircraft that enhance performance, safety, or comfort. An STC ensures that any upgrades or changes—such as advanced avionics, new interiors, or engine enhancements—meet strict aviation standards and regulatory requirements. By choosing STC installations, you can customize your aircraft with confidence, knowing each modification is fully certified for reliability and compliance.

B35 Bonanza Instrument panel

CNC cut panel being assembled after powder coating.  This panel is for installation into a Beechcraft Bonanza.  We use wooden supports to mount it to the wiring table so that we can create the harness on the table and power up the panel.  This allows us to test the functions of the equipment prior to installation in the airframe.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long will my Annual take?

On Average depending on the complexity of the aircraft 2-4 days.  Things that very are complex aircraft that require jacks to verify gear swings, Aircraft that are new to us requiring a more in-depth Airworthiness Directives search.   Lengths can be extended out due to various things such as discovering you need X part and the lead time is 2 weeks.  We can always request AOG from the manufacture but in recent years that doesn't always mean they will be able to speed it up.  But for no squawks and simple aircraft they can be accomplished very quickly typically.

How much Will my Annual Cost?

Pursuit Aviation charges a flat fee for the Annual inspection, this will include tearing it down, inspection of the aircraft and re-assembly.   Parts needed are billed outside of the Annual.  Squawks or issues found during the inspection are presented to the owner in the following manner - Airworthy, Recommended, and convivence.  If a Squawk is identified and approved to be fixed it will be billed hourly outside of the cost of the annual.  For example we find an AD has not been complied with on hoses.  The time to replace those hoses would be extra to the Annual cost.
